END BSL/Animal Profiling!

I an sick of seeing racist profiling of breed discrimination, when dogs simply do what they are trained to do. Dogs only want to please their owners. I have a 12 pound killer shark at home called Martini (a Chihuahua). The older she gets, the meaner she seems to get. I don't see her on the BSL's list of dogs to ban for the day.
Now 7 dogs of ANY breed is a lot to handle, unless you train them very! well! Then add on that they are all medium to large dogs, could spell trouble. Unless they are very well trained.

We all have bad days, dogs do too. When just one dog attacks they have a mob mentality  (that is what we call it when people group together and attack) and will all follow the lead of the aggressor (like Ferguson, it took one or two people to get the others fired up and BAMM the town was destroyed)... All those people were not humanely euthanized, most were not even punished. But when a dog does it, they must be MURDERED/humanely euthanized.

All living creatures deserve to be happy and loved. Even in the wild you find odd couples that for reasons know only to the animals and God, have come together in friendship and love. Stop profiling animals based on the fears of the uneducated and media propaganda. We can all live in peace and harmony, live and let live. Love and be kind!

Thank you for reading my afternoon rant.

a puppy I never met

Early this morning
I have already cried
all for a puppy who almost died
a puppy I never met
a puppy with hurt over a year ago
I cried

I cried for this puppy
I cried for humanities decline
we as protectors of this earth have failed
Humanity has failed
to protect what God gave us
on this earth, so

the animals
the trees
even the leaves
living beings
people and animals
we kill them
we hurt and maim
we enjoy their pain
NOT ME
We need to stop those that do

we the protectors of this earth
have failed the creatures on this plane
as a living being
we deserve to live well in it

I cried
this morning for a puppy I never met
I looked at my dogs
I think they have the right be happy and more
I close the computer
I walked away
thinking what could have happened to my dogs
if I never rescued them on that one special day

I cried
I cried
for all those animals that was left behind
how they had to suffer
at humanities hands

I cried
my heart broke inside
I cried

I cried
my heart broke inside
I cried

We need to save our planet
we need to save the earth
the trees
and everything
most of all
we need to protect

protect the creatures
that live
people and animals a like

don't be silent
don't be afraid
stand up
say something

it could be you in need one day

make a phone call
do something
take action!
Don't let another innocent suffer
because you were afraid!

tired inside

Tired
early
try to be happy

stress
pulled in 10 directions
try to make no mistakes

long
tired
want to go home

no
more stress
more pulling
try to be happy

yawning
brain turning off
eyes want to close

try to go
no i am told
rest not coming

time to go
before I here no
time to hit the road

tired and come home
no need to try
be happy
play with the dogs

happy happy
it's the end of the rush of the day
smiling eyes see hubby arrive

fresh salad awaits
2 hotdogs just in case
so tired inside

eyes slowly fall
he yells my ears
so tired inside

a loving eye
lost its sight
no sparkle left in his angry eyes
just tired inside

A long day
a long week
a long time

no glitter left inside
only the dogs left
make me smile

I see the glitter glowing
shinning at me
There are 6 eyes

they say mommy smile
My tired spirit hears
3 dogs say mommy we love you
we love you even when your tired inside

Part two: Jack-Jack (aka Willie Wonka) a Rescue – Good Boy

Jack has lived with us for almost an entire year now, I cannot be happier about how our live together have all become one. He has bonded with everyone that lives in our home and continues to act like a one year old pup. He has found his place in our family and he is not classified as a pet in our house -he is family!

This story could have ended badly; he could have been “humanely” euthanized, adopted back into the life of a fighter or to a family that would get bored when the newness had worn off, only to toss him outside (if he was lucky) or chain him to a tree to slowly be forgotten about, left for the buzzards to watch over him and wait.

This is where Jack’s story started http://www.humanesociety.org/news/press_releases/2013/08/alabama-georgia-mississippi-dogfighting-082613.html and here is where that chapter ended http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/08/26/dog-fighting-recovery_n_5717823.html?1409087278

Here is where Jack’s next chapter in life BEGAN http://bethevoice4thevoiceless.blogspot.com/2014/07/jack-jack-aka-willie-wonka-rescue.html and here is where that chapter ended http://bethevoice4thevoiceless.blogspot.com/2015/02/they-are-all-not-beyond-repair.html

Jack continues to push me to write. He puts a spark in my heart and continues to lift and lighten my heart. His new and improved life pushes forward and he continues to develop into a great dog! He is amazing and continues to amaze everyone he meets.

Last winter I registered for “The Strut Your Mutt” walk and he was scared of all the people (so many people), but he did well and even began to smile as he pushed through (giving me a little pull) the crowd toward the front of the walk. He finally relaxed during our walk and played with everyone who wanted to pet him or sniff him. I bragged on him about how he was/is such a good boy.

He is not perfect, but he is a good boy. He does not have to be anything but my good boy. That will always be good enough for me. He learned that he can climb my wooden privacy fence and it almost looks like he does pull-ups on the panels. He learned that he can bounce and zigzag up tress to try and get the squirrels, like a ninja in between the trees. He scares me, but I do everything in my power to keep him safe from the outside EVILS that would rather see him “humanely” euthanized. I will protect him and WILL do everything to keep him safe!

Last Saturday on the second walk he has been registered in, I was not worried at all about him or his behavior. My husband joined us on our adventure in the “Mutt March” and was amazed with Jack’s behavior and popularity. We/I did not brag on Jack’s good behavior, people in the crowd did. Other walkers commented on his great demeanor and behavior.

He walked

He listened

He sat

He let anyone pet him

He did not jump up on anyone

He did not jump up on any other dogs

He let anyone sniff him

He was slow and careful while sniffing others

He was nicer and better mannered than a few of the humans that we came into contact with!

I am so proud of him and he is truly a great dog!

My good boy story turned into a great love story!

My Jack is our Family Dog, a loved and loving member of my family.

I pray that all dogs can find their soul family pack members.

Please adopt a pet from rescues and you can see the

appreciation and love on their faces; like a planes writing in the sky “will you marry me” or like your three year old's creative art work painted on your living room wall with rainbow colors of crayola crowns. They will melt your hearts and bond with your soul; become much, much more than a pet. They become a member of your family and an enormous part of your life.

Thank you for reading Jacks story, “the greatest & most well behaved dog that I know.”
