Today you forgot to feed me
Today you
forgot to feed me
Its
okay
My water
bowl is dry
All
gone
Its
okay
Why have you
forgotten me?
I
am always here for you
Today when
you put me outside
You forgot
to let me back in
I
cried, staring at the door
Still
HUNGRY
And
THIRSTY
Now
all ALONE
I
cried
You left me
One day turns to three
Scared
and alone
When will you
came home
And let me in
It’s
okay
I
am always here for you
So much
barking
In this strange place
So much
noise
Cold floors
I
got food and water today
Where are
you
Gone again
Once
you loved me
Now
left me
in
a scary cage
Watching
Waiting
You never came
After
all we grew up together
We
grew old together
You got
colder
As we got older
Its
okay
I
was always there for you
Confused
Alone
I wait
three days
more
two
one
None
No more days
Will I be allowed to wait
For you
No more
Days
LEFT
Pets are a
commitment from day one to the bitter end. They should never suffer from a
human’s selfish need for not sparing the time to care for them in their golden
years. Love is for life and so are our pets. Have you ever seen a dog cry? I
have, I have seen tears ROLL down their eyes, it broke my heart. Animals love wholly
and completely; they don’t play with your emotions or try and deceive you. They
will not try to use you or abuse you; our pets only want to LOVE us completely
and wholly.
Have you
ever seen a dog that suffered from a broken heart, I have, and about three
weeks later he died. I can only imagine that it was due to his broken heart.
Please don’t
dump your pets at a kill shelter.
Please don’t
put them on Craig’s list.
Please love
you pet or don’t get one to start with, if you can not commit.

Why scare me?
You did not
scare me
My heart broke a little more
For no reason
You lost you
temper
WHY
I was trying
not to fight
I was not scared
I did not
want to hurt you
Or
you to hurt me
You
Cornered me
And I did not want to fight or
bite
You just
stood there
While I prepare
to bite while in flight
FROZEN
Not with fear
Focused on not
reacting
On
not fighting
If I could
speak, I would say
I saw the devil
in your eyes that day
Silently
screaming “FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT”
If I moved I
fear
I would fall into the human trap
and fight
Frozen
Trying to protect us
From your fight
If I could I
would tell you
HOW DARE YOU TRY AND SCARE ME
INTIMADATE ME
WHY!
WHY
Would you taunt me by?
Saying
What are you
going to do about it?
WHY
Would you
want me to fight?
To be in a cage
To treat me that
way
So
wrongly
I want to
run away to someone who will not only say
That they love me
They will
ALWAYS
ALWAYS
SHOW ME
THAT
THEY LOVE ME
True love
for me
Because I am
worth it
Perfect or
Not
I deserve
the love that you
So easily
So conveniently
Forget
to show me
Why not
let us be
Happy

a puppy I never met
Early this morning
I have already cried
all for a puppy who almost died
a puppy I never met
a puppy with hurt over a year ago
I cried
I cried for this puppy
I cried for humanities decline
we as protectors of this earth have failed
Humanity has failed
to protect what God gave us
on this earth, so
the animals
the trees
even the leaves
living beings
people and animals
we kill them
we hurt and maim
we enjoy their pain
NOT ME
We need to stop those that do
we the protectors of this earth
have failed the creatures on this planet
as a living being
we deserve to live well in it
I cried
this morning for a puppy I never met
I looked at my dogs
I think they have the right be happy and more
I close the computer
I walked away
thinking what could have happened to my dogs
if I never rescued them on that one special day
I cried
I cried
for all those animals that was left behind
how they had to suffer
at humanities hands
I cried
my heart broke inside
I cried
I cried
my heart broke inside
I cried
I have already cried
all for a puppy who almost died
a puppy I never met

I cried
We need
to save our planet
we need to save the earth
the trees
and everything
most of all
we need to protect
protect the creatures
that live
people and animals a like
don't be silent
don't be afraid
stand up
say something
it could be you in need one day
make a phone call
do something
take action!
Don't let another innocent suffer
because you were afraid!
we need to save the earth
the trees
and everything
most of all
we need to protect
protect the creatures

tired inside
Tiredearly
try to be happy
stress
pulled in 10 directions
try to make no mistakes
long
tired
want to go home
no
more stress
more pulling
try to be happy
yawning
brain turning off
eyes want to close
try to go
no i am told
rest not coming
time to go
before I here no
time to hit the road
tired and come home
no need to try
be happy
play with the dogs
happy happy
it's the end of the rush of the day
smiling eyes see hubby arrive
fresh salad awaits
2 hotdogs just in case
so tired inside
eyes slowly fall
he yells my ears
so tired inside
a loving eye
lost its sight
no sparkle left in his angry eyes
just tired inside
A long day
a long week
a long time
no glitter left inside
only the dogs left
make me smile

I see the glitter glowing
shinning at me
There are 6 eyes
they say mommy smile
My tired spirit hears
3 dogs say mommy we love you
we love you even when your tired inside
