A Dream of Boundaries and Unexpected Paths

A Dream of Boundaries and Unexpected Paths

This morning, I had a vivid dream that rushed back to me after I stepped outside. It started with my neighbor selling a piece of land we’d been trying to buy. Someone built a big purple house on it, facing my direction instead of the street, and I remember feeling annoyed that we missed out on that opportunity.

Then, I noticed kids cutting through my yard and my neighbor Mr. T.’s yard, playing in the street. We both fussed at them for crossing our properties. That’s when I saw the new mailbox and house, and I asked Mr. T. why he sold the land. He said he only sold a piece of it, and the house — pretty but purplish-blue — had been built there.

Later in the dream, I ended up helping one of the kids, taking them to a big complex that felt like a school. Edwin was with me, helping every step of the way. While trying to ensure the child got inside safely, I asked to speak with management. At first, they refused, but after some persistence, they found someone for me. The strangest part? They unexpectedly offered me a job — a role that seemed to carry a lot of responsibility. I wasn’t looking for a job, much less something like that, and I woke up feeling confused.

Reflecting on the Dream:

This dream really feels like a message wrapped in emotions and symbols. The land sale and the house might represent missed opportunities or things happening outside my control. The kids cutting through my yard could symbolize boundaries being crossed — whether that’s emotional, spiritual, or physical.

Helping the child and navigating the complex made me think about how naturally I step into a protective role, even when it’s unexpected. And the job offer? Maybe it hints at opportunities I haven’t seen coming yet — a sign that sometimes life nudges us toward new paths, even when we aren’t actively seeking them.

In my waking life, I’m struggling with balancing my desire to work part-time with wanting to be there for my grandkids. My heart wants to help, so they don’t have to go to daycare or be with strangers. But at the same time, my kids are grown, and I shouldn’t have to put my life on hold. Maybe this dream is my spirit wrestling with that balance — standing my ground, protecting what matters, and figuring out what my next step should be.

Life has a way of showing us things we need to see, even in our dreams. I’m still sorting through what this one means for me, but I know one thing: my heart is being pulled toward both protection and purpose, and I trust that the right path will become clear.

Have you ever had a dream that made you stop and reflect on where life is pulling you?

Dream Interpretation: My Dog and the Porcupine Quills

Dream Interpretation: My Dog and the Porcupine Quills

Last night, I had a vivid and poignant dream that left me reflecting on deeper emotional and spiritual meanings. In the dream, my dog was poked in the face with a couple of porcupine quills, and in her leg, there were several long quills stuck in her. I was trying to remove them from her, but I couldn’t see who was helping me. I assumed it was my husband. Just as we were removing the quills, I woke up.

At first, this dream left me feeling unsettled, but as I reflected more deeply, I began to see it as a symbol of what I’m currently experiencing in my life—issues, obstacles, and healing processes that require attention and care. Here’s my interpretation, as well as what I think the dream might have meant for me.

The Dog as a Symbol of Loyalty and Protection

In dreams, dogs often represent loyalty, companionship, and emotional security. Seeing my dog hurt in the dream might reflect a sense of vulnerability or fear for someone or something I care deeply about. It could be symbolic of a loved one, a situation, or even a part of myself that I feel is under threat or experiencing pain.

As a proud mama of several dogs, I’m especially connected to them, and they symbolize not just my love for animals but also the responsibility I feel in protecting and nurturing those I care for.

The Porcupine Quills: Boundaries, Protection, and Pain

Porcupines are defensive creatures, and their quills represent boundaries and protection. In the dream, the quills represented emotional or physical pain caused by boundaries—whether my own or someone else’s. The long quills in her leg, especially, could symbolize obstacles or painful situations that affect movement, progress, or freedom. This made me wonder if there’s something in my life—maybe a challenge or situation—that is preventing me or my loved ones from moving forward.

The placement of the quills also offers insight:

  • Face: The face is often tied to identity, communication, or the way we present ourselves to the world. The quills in my dog’s face could indicate a fear of harm to how I or someone I love communicates or connects with others.

  • Leg: Legs symbolize movement and the ability to progress in life. The quills here might indicate an obstacle in our path, something that’s preventing forward movement, whether emotionally, physically, or spiritually.

The Act of Removing the Quills: Healing and Support

In the dream, I was actively trying to remove the quills from my dog, which symbolizes my desire to address the pain or obstacles in my life. The fact that I was not alone in this process but had help—though I couldn’t see the helper—suggests a powerful message of support. Although I assumed it was my husband helping, the faceless nature of the person may symbolize a greater, unseen support system—whether it’s my husband’s emotional support, the presence of faith, or even inner strength that I draw from when I’m navigating tough times.

The dream felt like a reminder that I’m not alone in tackling the challenges I face, even if I can’t always see who or what is assisting me. It emphasizes the importance of partnership—whether it’s with family, spiritual guidance, or the support of others who help us heal, even from pain we can’t fully see or understand.

Unfinished Business: Progress in Healing

The fact that I woke up as we were in the process of removing the quills suggests that I am currently in the midst of a healing process or tackling a challenge. The dream didn’t end with the quills removed, but it ended with progress being made. It’s a sign that I’m on the right path and that while there’s still work to be done, I’m moving forward.

This might reflect a larger spiritual lesson: Healing takes time, but we’re making progress, even if it feels slow or incomplete. Just like removing the quills, I need to trust the process and know that, with patience and care, obstacles will eventually be removed.

Lessons from the Dream

  1. Healing Takes Time: Just as removing the quills from my dog was a slow process, healing emotional, physical, or relational wounds often takes patience. It’s not always quick, but each step toward progress is meaningful.

  2. Support Is There, Even When Unseen: The faceless helper reminded me that there are forces in my life—whether human or spiritual—that help me in times of need, even when I can’t always see them.

  3. Protecting Those We Love: The dream reinforced my protective instincts, especially toward my family and animals. I feel deeply about the importance of nurturing and caring for those I love, even in difficult circumstances.

Final Thoughts

This dream, though unsettling at first, offered valuable insights into my current state of mind and emotional landscape. It’s a reminder that, even when facing obstacles and pain, progress is being made and that I’m not alone in my efforts to protect and heal those I care about. Healing is a process, and I must trust that with patience and support, the pain will eventually subside.

If you’ve ever had a similar dream or have reflected on the symbolism of animals, boundaries, or healing, I’d love to hear your thoughts or experiences. Sometimes, our dreams offer profound wisdom—if only we take the time to listen and reflect on their deeper meanings.

Navigating the Storm: A Dream Reflection on Emotional Struggles and Spiritual Strength

Navigating the Storm: A Dream Reflection on Emotional Struggles and Spiritual Strength

Last night, I had a dream that hit close to home, reflecting so much of what’s been going on in my life right now. In the dream, I was changing jobs, seeking something closer to home in Clay County. In real life, that’s exactly what I’m going through—trying to shift things to create more balance and peace in my daily life. But the dream unfolded into something much deeper, revealing layers of emotion, past experiences, and spiritual battles.

The setting took me to a Chick-fil-A, where I encountered someone from my past—someone I didn’t like due to her overly friendly behavior toward my husband. In the dream, she appeared as her young self, reminding me of old feelings and unresolved emotions. This moment reflected how sometimes, old wounds and past insecurities can resurface when we least expect them.

Things took a strange turn when I found a food truck that was supposed to be a Chick-fil-A. This unconventional version of the restaurant symbolized something that appeared stable and familiar but was actually temporary or unstable. It felt like an illusion, something that didn’t align with what I thought it should be. I accidentally cracked open a cabinet and found myself tangled in a situation I wasn’t expecting. This was a sign of hidden things being revealed—broken parts of my life I may have ignored for too long.

Then came the hospital scene. My friend brought me medicine, but something was wrong. Two of the medicines were correct, but four were not. It reminded me of how sometimes, the things we receive or the advice we’re given aren’t what we need. It left me feeling confused, like things weren’t aligning the way they should be. The chaos continued when I had to lock people out of my space—symbolizing how I’ve been feeling emotionally invaded lately, with pressures coming from all sides.

The dream then took me to a waterspout over the land. It came out of the St. John’s River, and I could feel it pulling me up. But instead of succumbing to it, I fought with all my might, swinging and telling it to let me go. It was a powerful symbol of my spiritual strength—fighting back against forces trying to lift me out of my peace. In real life, I’ve been going through a tough time, emotionally drained after a disagreement with my husband, and this stormy experience in the dream mirrored that battle. But the victory in the dream was clear: despite being lifted up by the storm, I fought back until it released me, and the waterspout went away.

This dream made me realize that even when I feel exhausted and drained, especially after emotional storms, I have the power to stand firm and fight through it. The dream was a reminder that I’m not alone in these battles. I have divine strength to resist anything that tries to pull me off track. It also showed me that peace, though sometimes hard to find, is always within my grasp. I just need to keep pushing forward, trusting that the storm will pass.

If you’re going through your own emotional storm or struggle, remember: you have the strength to fight back, even when everything feels overwhelming. You are more powerful than you realize. 💛

Spiritual Alert: Guarding Your Home and Heart

Spiritual Alert: Guarding Your Home and Heart

I had a powerful dream that felt like a warning to stay vigilant. In the dream, my family and I were in our home, and we had added a safe room—a protected space—where we could fortify ourselves from external threats. Edwin had bought an alternator for Miranda's car, and after some small confusion over the part, he put it in the safe room, ready to fix the car the next day.

As I was closing the curtains and locking up for the night, I noticed two large, old cars coming down the driveway. I immediately felt the threat and knew they wanted to break in. Despite my firm "no" to their attempts, one of the cars came back and crashed into a tree near our home with such force that it cracked. I screamed for my family and the dogs to get out of the house as we all ran into the safe room.

Though the tree leaned against the house, it didn’t fall. The attackers eventually left. At some point, I vaguely remember firing shots—though I’m unsure when it happened.

The dream left me with a deep sense of warning that someone (or something) will try to break in twice, using extreme force. But it also reminded me that my foundation is strong. I am on the right track, closing off any cracks where the enemy could gain entry, whether physically, emotionally, or spiritually.

Takeaway: If you’ve been working to guard your home, family, and heart, keep doing it. Strengthen your spiritual defenses, pray, and stay vigilant. The enemy may try to break in, but they will fail. Your foundation will hold strong.

Stay alert, stay protected, and trust that you're prepared. 💪🙏✨

Spiritual Practices for Managing Emotional and Spiritual Overload

Spiritual Practices for Managing Emotional and Spiritual Overload

Life often brings us moments of deep emotional strain, especially when we’re navigating challenges for ourselves and our loved ones. If you're feeling emotionally overloaded or spiritually drained, here are some spiritually focused practices to help you find peace, strength, and protection during such times:

1. Prayer for Protection and Peace
When you pray, consider adding specific prayers for protection over your home, family, and yourself.
Example Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I ask for Your divine shield over my family, my home, and myself. Surround us with Your peace, and let Your presence fill every corner of our lives. Seal every vulnerability with Your strength and light, and remove any source of harm or negativity. Refresh my spirit and grant me rest as I trust in Your care. Amen.

2. Spiritual Cleansing of Your Home
Take intentional steps to spiritually cleanse your space, just like you would care for your emotional well-being.

  • Use anointing oil or water to bless your doors, windows, and rooms, speaking words of protection.

  • Burn incense or sage to clear out negative energy and invite divine peace.

  • Focus on areas where you may feel vulnerable, asking God to seal them with His protection.

3. Visualization of a Protective Shield
In quiet moments, envision a protective shield of divine light surrounding you and your loved ones.

  • Picture this light as strong and impenetrable, bringing peace and safety.

  • Use breathing exercises to absorb that light and release stress or negativity with every exhale.

4. Psalm 91 for Assurance
Psalm 91 is a powerful scripture for protection.
Meditate on these words: “He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings, you will find refuge” (Psalm 91:4).

5. Spiritual Rest and Renewal
Take time to simply be in God's presence:

  • Play calming worship music or sit in silence, asking God to renew your heart with His peace.

  • Reflect on Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

6. Gratitude and Release Ritual
Write down your worries and release them to God:

  • "Lord, thank You for protecting my family. I surrender my anxieties over their safety into Your hands."

  • Symbolically surrender these burdens by burning or burying the paper, trusting God with them.

In moments of emotional or spiritual overload, turning to God for comfort and peace can restore your strength. Be kind to yourself, trust in His protection, and let His peace surround you.

Deepening Your Spiritual Peace and Protection

Deepening Your Spiritual Peace and Protection

In our daily lives, peace and protection are gifts we often seek and pray for. If you're looking to deepen your sense of peace and strengthen the spiritual protection around your home and loved ones, here are some meaningful practices you can incorporate into your daily routine:

1. Morning and Evening Blessings

Start and end each day with gratitude and a prayer of protection.
Example:
"Lord, I thank You for Your constant presence. Please continue to guard my home, my land, my family, and all that I cherish. Surround us with Your peace and let no disruption take away the tranquility You have gifted us. Amen."

2. Anointing Your Home and Land

Bless the corners of your home or property with olive oil or holy water, while saying a prayer of protection and peace.
Example:
"I dedicate this home and land to You, Lord. May Your light and protection guard every corner, and may Your peace dwell here always."

3. Create a Peace Altar

Designate a special space in your home with symbols of peace, such as a cross, a candle, or a prayer. Visit this space often to reflect and pray.
Example Scripture: "The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you." (Numbers 6:24-26)

4. Visualize Divine Light

During prayer or meditation, envision a bright light surrounding you, your home, and your loved ones—creating an impenetrable shield of peace.

5. Recite Scriptures for Peace and Protection

Scriptures can be a powerful tool for grounding your spirit. Recite these verses to invite peace and protection into your life:

  • "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." (Psalm 23:1)

  • "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you." (John 14:27)

6. Walk Your Land in Prayer

Take time to walk through your land, speaking blessings over your home, animals, and everything you care for. Let your prayers fill the space with peace.

7. Journaling and Reflection

Keep a journal of your prayers, dreams, and any signs you receive. Reflect on how your connection with God grows and how He answers your prayers for peace and protection.

Let these practices become a beautiful part of your spiritual journey, bringing peace to your heart and safeguarding your home and loved ones. 🌿💫

Dream Interpretation: A Frantic Chicken

Dream Interpretation: A Frantic Chicken

Dreams can offer us meaningful insights into our emotions and life situations. Here's a reflection on a recent dream I had:

In the dream, I found myself holding a frantic, scared chicken. It seemed fragile and afraid, but as I tried to comfort it, the chicken let me hold it, even though it was in a fearful state. We were in a strange house, one that felt like mine, but unfamiliar in some ways. The chicken didn’t flap or struggle. It seemed to calm down in my arms, accepting my efforts to protect and soothe it.

What could this mean?

  • The Chicken: Chickens in dreams can symbolize vulnerability, care, or something that requires protection. In this case, the frantic chicken could represent a part of myself, a loved one, or a situation that feels fragile and in need of nurturing.

  • Protecting and Comforting: My attempts to hold and comfort the chicken reflect my desire to care for something vulnerable or navigate a difficult situation. It's a reminder of my natural inclination to protect those around me, offering support in times of fear or uncertainty.

  • The Strange House: Houses in dreams often symbolize the self or current life circumstances. The house being both familiar and strange might indicate feelings of uncertainty or navigating unfamiliar emotional territory in my life.

  • The Chicken Calming Down: Despite its initial fear, the chicken eventually allowed me to comfort it, suggesting that my efforts to nurture and create stability are effective, even in challenging or unfamiliar situations.

Given my connection to animals and nature, the chicken might also reflect my current role as a caretaker, especially for my chicks and other animals. This dream reminds me of the importance of my nurturing role and reassures me that my efforts are meaningful, even in moments of uncertainty.

Have you ever had a dream like this? What do you think it might symbolize for you?

a loving and heartfelt quote

"In the heart of our woodland home, surrounded by the laughter of my husband and children, the wagging tails of our six dogs, and the gentle clucks of our eight chickens, I find the purest love. Together, we are a symphony of joy, a family bound by devotion, and a love that grows with every moment we share."

Title: "Whispers of Pine Hollow"

 Title: "Whispers of Pine Hollow"

Chapter 1: The Reluctant Relocation

In the bustling heart of New York City, Amelia Hayes was the epitome of a modern urbanite. Her days were filled with high-paced meetings, nights at chic rooftop bars, and weekends exploring the latest art exhibitions. She thrived on the energy of the city, the constant hum of life that never seemed to stop. But life, as it often does, took an unexpected turn.

It was a Monday morning when Amelia received the news. Her eccentric great-aunt Lydia had passed away, leaving Amelia the sole heir to her remote country estate in Pine Hollow, a town she'd never heard of. The property was deep in the woods, miles from the nearest neighbor, on a dirt road that even Google Maps refused to acknowledge.

Despite her initial reluctance, Amelia saw an opportunity. She would sell the property, make a quick profit, and be back in her penthouse within a month. How hard could it be?

Chapter 2: The Road Less Traveled

The drive to Pine Hollow was long and uneventful until Amelia reached the outskirts of town. The paved road gradually turned to gravel, and then, as if in defiance of modernity, to a narrow dirt path that wound deeper into the dense forest. The trees grew taller and closer together, their gnarled branches forming a natural archway that blocked out the sun. The GPS signal faded, and with it, Amelia's confidence.

The further she drove, the more uneasy she became. The air felt heavier, thick with the scent of pine and something else she couldn't quite place—a faint, sweet aroma that made her head swim. She glanced at her phone. No service.

The road twisted and turned, each bend revealing more of the same: endless trees, shadows that seemed to move just out of sight, and an unsettling silence that pressed against her ears. Finally, after what felt like hours, the house came into view.

It was an old Victorian mansion, its once-grand facade now weathered and overgrown with ivy. The windows were dark, the porch sagging under the weight of time. A thick mist clung to the ground, swirling around Amelia's feet as she stepped out of the car.

She had expected an old, rundown house, but there was something more to this place—something that made the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end.

Chapter 3: The Secrets of Pine Hollow

As days turned into weeks, Amelia found herself trapped in Pine Hollow. The real estate agent she had contacted never returned her calls, and every attempt to leave was thwarted by the road itself—washed out by unexpected storms, blocked by fallen trees, or simply disappearing into the fog. The townsfolk, when she encountered them, were friendly enough but always vague when she asked about the estate or her great-aunt.

The house, too, held its secrets. Strange noises echoed through the halls at night—footsteps where there should be none, whispers just beyond the edge of hearing, and the faint strains of a piano playing an old, haunting melody. Amelia discovered hidden rooms, filled with dusty antiques and books written in languages she couldn't understand.

One night, as she explored the attic, she found an old journal belonging to her great-aunt Lydia. The entries were scattered and nonsensical at first, but soon they took on a darker tone. Lydia wrote of the "Watchers of the Woods," spirits that protected Pine Hollow from outsiders, and the rituals she performed to keep them at bay.

Amelia dismissed it as the ramblings of a lonely old woman, but the feeling of being watched grew stronger each day. Shadows moved on their own, and the sweet, sickly scent that had greeted her on her arrival now seemed to permeate every room.

Chapter 4: The Final Revelation

One stormy night, unable to sleep, Amelia wandered outside. The forest was alive with the sound of rustling leaves and the distant hoot of an owl. Drawn by an unseen force, she followed a narrow path that led deeper into the woods, to a clearing bathed in moonlight.

In the center of the clearing stood a circle of ancient stones, each etched with symbols that glowed faintly in the darkness. As Amelia approached, the air grew colder, and she felt a presence—something old and powerful—watching her.

Suddenly, the ground beneath her feet shifted, and the stones began to hum with a low, resonant sound. The whispers that had haunted her in the house now filled her mind, urging her to leave, to run, to never return. But something kept her rooted to the spot.

In that moment, Amelia realized the truth. Pine Hollow wasn't just a town lost to time; it was a place out of time, a boundary between worlds where the living and the dead coexisted. Her great-aunt had been the guardian of this place, and now that responsibility had passed to her.

The wind howled through the trees as Amelia made her decision. She couldn't leave Pine Hollow—not until she understood its secrets, not until she made peace with the spirits that dwelled there.

As she stepped back from the circle of stones, the forest seemed to exhale, the tension lifting as if acknowledging her choice. The dirt road would remain closed to the outside world, and Amelia Hayes, the city girl, would become the new Keeper of Pine Hollow.

Chapter 5: The Keeper's Trials

Amelia settled into her new role as the Keeper of Pine Hollow, though she had no idea what that truly entailed. The townspeople, who had once been distant and cryptic, began to open up to her—though their revelations were often unsettling. They spoke of ancient traditions, of rites performed under the full moon, and of a pact made long ago to protect the town from the "Old Ones"—the spirits that roamed the forest.

Amelia spent her days poring over Lydia’s journals, trying to decipher the rituals described within them. The more she read, the more she understood that the balance of Pine Hollow was delicate, and her great-aunt had been more than just an eccentric old woman. She had been a powerful guardian, a witch of sorts, who had kept the town safe for decades.

But now that Lydia was gone, the spirits were growing restless. Amelia began to experience strange visions, glimpses of the past and the future, where the forest encroached upon the town, swallowing it whole. She saw the faces of the townsfolk twisted in terror, heard their screams echoing through the trees. And always, the whispers followed her, growing louder and more insistent.

Chapter 6: The Awakening

One evening, as Amelia prepared for bed, she noticed a faint glow emanating from the edge of the forest. It pulsed rhythmically, like a heartbeat, drawing her toward it. Grabbing a flashlight, she ventured out into the night, the beam cutting through the thick mist that had settled over the estate.

The glow led her to the same clearing she had discovered before, but this time, something was different. The circle of stones had changed. They were no longer just ancient markers; they were alive, their symbols shining brightly in the dark. The air was thick with energy, and Amelia could feel it vibrating through her bones.

As she stepped closer, the ground beneath her feet began to tremble. The trees around the clearing swayed violently, though there was no wind. The whispers returned, louder now, a cacophony of voices speaking in a language Amelia couldn't understand. But one word stood out, repeated over and over again: "Awaken."

Suddenly, the ground split open at the center of the stone circle, revealing a dark, gaping hole. From within, a figure began to rise—tall and thin, with eyes that glowed like embers and a body made of shadow. It was one of the Old Ones, the very beings her great-aunt had kept at bay for so long.

Amelia’s heart pounded in her chest as the creature’s gaze locked onto her. For a moment, she was paralyzed with fear, but then, something inside her shifted. The knowledge she had absorbed from Lydia’s journals surged through her mind, and instinctively, she raised her hands, reciting an incantation she hadn’t realized she knew.

The symbols on the stones flared brightly, and the creature recoiled, its form flickering like a dying flame. But it didn’t retreat. Instead, it spoke, its voice like the rustling of dead leaves, promising doom upon the town if it was not released.

Amelia hesitated, the weight of the decision heavy on her shoulders. She knew that if she let the creature go, it would bring ruin to Pine Hollow. But if she trapped it again, it would only be a matter of time before the others came for her, and for the town. She had to find another way.

Chapter 7: The New Pact

Determined to end the cycle, Amelia spent the next several days in seclusion, studying the journals and ancient texts she found in the house. She barely slept, surviving on coffee and sheer willpower as she searched for a solution. Finally, she came across a passage in one of Lydia's oldest books, describing a ritual that could bind the Old Ones permanently, but at a cost.

The ritual required a blood sacrifice—not of another, but of the Keeper herself. It would mean giving up her humanity, binding her soul to the forest and becoming one with it. In return, the Old Ones would be sealed away forever, unable to harm anyone again.

Amelia knew what she had to do. On the night of the next full moon, she returned to the clearing. The air was thick with anticipation, the trees silent as she stepped into the circle. She had prepared everything according to the instructions, the symbols drawn in her own blood, the candles placed at precise intervals.

As she began the incantation, the ground rumbled beneath her feet, and the stones glowed with a fierce light. The creature from before appeared again, along with others, their forms shifting and twisting in the darkness. They howled and shrieked, trying to break through the circle, but Amelia stood firm, her voice steady as she completed the ritual.

With a final word, the light from the stones burst forth, enveloping Amelia and the Old Ones in a blinding flash. The ground shook violently, and then, just as suddenly, it was over. The clearing was silent once more, the air still.

Amelia collapsed to the ground, her strength gone. She could feel the forest around her, every tree, every blade of grass, as if it were an extension of her own body. She had done it. The Old Ones were gone, their presence erased from Pine Hollow.

But she was no longer just Amelia Hayes. She was the new Keeper, bound to the land for eternity. The whispers had ceased, replaced by a calm, steady hum that resonated through the woods. She had become part of the very thing she had once feared.

Chapter 8: The Eternal Watcher

Years passed, and Pine Hollow remained peaceful, untouched by the darkness that once threatened it. The townsfolk spoke of the mysterious woman who lived in the old mansion, rarely seen but always watching, always protecting.

Amelia had grown accustomed to her new existence. She no longer needed food or sleep, her body sustained by the power of the forest. She wandered the woods at night, ensuring that the balance was maintained, that the pact she had made held strong.

The road to her estate remained hidden, known only to those who truly needed it. And though the town forgot her name with time, the legend of the Keeper of Pine Hollow lived on, a guardian who would protect the town from the shadows that lurked just beyond the trees.

And so, Amelia Hayes, the city girl who once feared the woods, became its eternal protector, the last line of defense against the darkness that would never fully fade away.

The End.

God Speaks in Dreams

The moonlight poured through the window, bathing the quiet room in silver. As Anna drifted into sleep, the veil between the seen and unseen grew thin, and she found herself standing in a vast meadow of golden grass. The sky above shimmered with hues of lavender and gold, a twilight she had never known but somehow felt familiar.

A soft breeze carried the scent of jasmine, and as she turned, she saw a figure approaching from the horizon. The man was cloaked in white, his face radiant with warmth and kindness. "Anna," he called, his voice resonating through her very soul. "Come, walk with Me."

They strolled through the meadow, the grass parting beneath their feet. "Why am I here?" Anna asked, her heart brimming with awe.

The man smiled. "You seek answers. I have been speaking to you, but the noise of the world drowns My voice. Here, in this quiet, listen."

Suddenly, the meadow transformed. She stood at the edge of a dense forest, moonlight streaming through the trees. In the distance, a lighthouse emerged from the darkness, its beacon sweeping across the land. Anna felt drawn to it, each step echoing with purpose. As she neared, the ground shifted beneath her, and she realized she was walking barefoot across crystal-clear water. Each ripple shimmered like stardust.

From the sky, a white horse descended, its hooves barely grazing the water’s surface. The horse knelt before her, and as she reached out to touch its mane, she felt a surge of strength flow through her. "This is your courage," the man said softly. "You have faced storms and trials, yet you stand. Let this be your reminder: you are stronger than you know."

The scene shifted again, and Anna found herself in a house she recognized — her own. Yet everything was aglow with a soft, divine light. She wandered from room to room, feeling warmth and safety. In one room, a golden cord stretched from the ceiling to the floor, pulsing with gentle light. As she touched it, she heard the voices of loved ones, their laughter and prayers interwoven in a celestial melody. "This is your connection to those you cherish, both seen and unseen," the man explained. "Love binds you together, even across realms."

Then Anna awoke, the morning sun painted her room in gold. She sat up, tears glistening in her eyes, a profound peace settling over her. She had heard His voice, felt His presence. God had spoken to her, and she knew — in waking and in dreams — He always would. Finally, Anna stood before a grand door, its surface carved with symbols of faith and hope. As it opened, a brilliant light spilled forth. She stepped inside and felt an overwhelming sense of peace. The man’s voice whispered once more, "I am with you. Always. In dreams and waking, I speak. Listen, and you will find Me."

Unwanted puppy had a happy ending - Maryanne

The puppy & Maryanne
When I decided to go get a new dog I was deeply saddened over the loss of my Ritta and the sudden loss of Martini. The depression would have overtaken me, but my God Most High helped me move forward. God who pulled me through, like always.

We searched and searched, weekend after weekend and I saw not one dog that would fill the void left by my Ritta and Martini. I cried every time I looked at a dog, my Jack Jack was even looking a little depressed of the loss of his sisters. He was acting a little different. I was acting a little different. I prayed and kept searching. I cried every time I looked at a dog, I wanted to take them all and I didn't want them at all, my heart was broken and nothing was filling it (I cried and prayed).

I saw this dog all curled up and I tried to play with her (no luck), so frail and scared looking. She looked frozen with fear. Then I held her, not knowing at the time the rescue probably drugged her. She looked terrified and I knew she needed to feel safe and feel loved. So we held her for hours. The shelter guy even offered us to take her just for a couple days to see if we liked her. He was telling us her story, my sadness got deeper and deeper. Listening to Maryanne's story, no wonder she was so sad.
The puppy & Maryanne

He told us she was rescued in Putnam County Florida, from a hoarding backyard breeder situation. I forgot the number (maybe 200 or 300 animals and a single wide mobile home). I can't imagine so many animals in it's a little trailer with no room to walk, always created. My heart hurt. But if that wasn't bad enough, she was adopted by an elderly couple and because she was so scared she wouldn't play (they took her back to the rescue), my heart shattered.

My husband said we could take her home for the weekend and I told him, "You know if we take her home, even if we hate her we're not returning her!" As we drove home her it seemed that the drugs started wearing off she started whining and whining and whining in terror.

When we got home We noticed that she was scared to be in the backyard, on the concrete, in the front yard on the grass, scared of the tile and scared of the carpet. She was scared of absolutely everything. When she pees she squats really low to the ground, someone told me that's because she was created her whole life. Not sure if that's true or not. I feel like they never took this dog out of the crate based on her behavior. They just bred her and created her.

Jack Jack LOVED her and was always cleaning and snuggling with her. Approximately a year after we got her, she finally let us give her cookies. Before that, we had to toss them on the ground in front of her and we had to walk away from her food so she would eat. She bonded with my husband and I first, because we were the ones who cared for her the most. The funny thing is she continually barked and barked at everyone else in the household, like they were strangers and she hadn't been looking at them for the past 2 and a 1/2 to 3 years.

On Halloween day 2021 we had a incident and my other dog Jack Jack, he had to be put down. And she was her normal terrified self just like on day one. We gave her so much extra love but again my heart was broke.

My husband didn't want another middle aged or old dog because if the incident, if I had to get another dog it had to be a puppy. And of course my heart would not allow me not have another dog, Dogs seem to mend my broken heart. God led us to this cute little puppy in Georgia.

This is where Marianne's story gets exciting, this puppy was 3 months old and was so annoying I was just beating myself up and my husband for getting a puppy, not really. I wanna say when the puppy was 6 months old Maryanne started really taking a shine to her, but the puppy didn't act like her Big Brother. It took a little bit of time, then they began bonding. Now mind you this puppy was about the same size if not a little bigger than Maryanne when we got her and now she triples the size of Maryanne.

One day we were outside all the dogs dogs and I noticed Maryanne was playing tag with the puppy. Then I began to pay attention she played tag with the puppy and wrestling with the puppy a lot. Maryanne has been with us almost 3 years now and she has lost 3 of her packmates.  Having been been through  so much trauma. She has come a long the way, I finally got to witness her blossom and become a real dog. This puppy now 11 months old brought Maryanne her out of her shell.

God-bless me with this amazing gift, I got to witness Maryanne become a real dog. I LOVE to watch them play every day and I just can't get enough of it. As annoying as my little puppy is now 11 months old, she was the best thing for my little Maryanne. God has blessed us in so many ways and right now that is the number one thing.

Leave it to a little unwanted dog rescued from backyard breeders and who deserves a chance to be happy and make others happy along the way. Earlier I wrote even if I hated her we would keep her until the end, but you can't hate a dog they are full of so much love that it will over flow to those around them. They just need time and given that 2nd chance or 3rd chance they just need time need time to come out of their shells.

Almost 3 years and she's a real dog and she stopped being barking at the other people in our house and finally she allows them to pet her (I believe that the puppy help with that too). And now she realizes as a result she gets so much more love, cuddles, pets and belly rubs. We had to give her time and the (in my opinion) puppy opened the door to become a happy and real dog for for her a little bit faster. It's amazing to watch and I'm so thankful to God for allowing me this opportunity to grant these dogs theirs 2nd and 3rd chances.

God's work is also being kind to his creations, his animals. The moral of this story is don't just get a dog because you wanna pet, they are a life long family member that you need to be committed too. Don't just get a dog because you want to say you have a 100% pure bred whatever type of animal. That's not fair to all the ones out there that need to be rescued, who need homes and love.

Make sure you give your rescue all the time they need to come around then trust you. Some will trust you easier than others. I had my one dog and took her almost 10 years before she even gave us a kiss. They're all different but they all need time to overcome whatever their problem was. Love and time, it's all that we can do for these animals that we choose to put in our lives. Don't just get a dog, get a friend. I realize they are also meant for protection, that's what mine are. But I still love them like my little furry babies. Like they'd protect me, I will protect them.

I have a pack of 100% pure bred rescue dogs. They have been the best  and the worst (3 bites and 2 emergency room visits),  but I will still take care of them and love them until the end of their days.

Maryanne & Jack Jack

Jack Jack & Maryanne

 God Bless Everyone

I started this Blog to share about helping DOGs & animals in general. I added some sad life stories at a time that I remembered and reflected on from 2017 to 2019 and parts of 2020. Since I restarted a life with Christ and began developing a RELATIONSHIP with Christ, I have been catapulted into a NEW LIFE and direction.

NOW "Be a voice for the Voiceless" will focus on people and God (all life, not just animals).

God is our voice, our inner voice, our guide to life & so much more.

We are/will be developing a plan to engage the audience/the people.

Be patient, it is all in God's time.

Much love and peace be with you all.

The Devil Inside: What a Mother Should Never Be

Thinking back to the first attack,
we didn’t know what was to be,
what was to become of me,
me, only twelve, turning thirteen.

She was possessed by the lust of a dangerous man,
with a dangerous plan—
a plan for a woman leaving her man,
a woman with three kids (almost four, left on a clinic floor).

Did the lost child belong to my dad,
or the man with the dangerous plan?
She moved us far away from our dad,
we were trapped with her, and the man with the dangerous plan.

He watched us,
he touched me—
I did not know,
I did not see.
It wasn’t only me.

He did more—can you see?
She did not believe me,
she did not believe them.
Touched and tortured,
she denied it, pretending to be a good mommy.

We all ran away from her,
left at about fourteen or fifteen,
trading one devil for another,
leaving her for the lesser of the evils in this world.

It’s confusing to me,
I don’t understand why she let these things happen,
why she let it happen to us,
why she aided in his dark, evil acts.

Through their darkness,
we stood, fighting back,
not knowing our Savior had our backs,
only able to see the dark attacks.

He helped us stand,
He helped us not fall.
Through it all, we stood up,
prepared for the next battle.

This is an internal war,
between a mother and her children,
children fighting from the start,
fighting for love, happiness, and safety
that we'd never find with her.

This long fight finally took us to God’s door,
searching for so much more.
Once we opened that door,
love and happiness flowed through us,
with a new family in tow,
and God's army waiting.

We will not lose this battle,
the battle that started at Mother’s door.
For reasons we may never know,
when God closes one door,
He opens another.
Mother's doors kept us prisoners,
prisoners in life and in our minds,
reality a false tale.

Once the Holy Spirit came calling,
Mother’s door began to fall,
with Holy Spirit whispers,
I no longer fear the dark knight.
I no longer fear the devil at her side,
I no longer fear her demon-possessed soul.

I know that God will have my back
at every single attack—
devil be gone,
with the power of my Lord and Savior,
demons leave us alone,
in the name of Jesus Christ.

Amen. Amen.

Finally at peace,
finally, we can be free.
Now free to become who we were meant to be,
who God wanted us to be.

He has my back

I have discovered through years that the closer you get to God the more the devil fights you

I have discovered through the years when you walk with the devil nothing bad's seems to happen

I have discovered through the years when you talk to God you grow

You grow close and sometimes bad things happen

Bad things happen because the devil is fighting you the devil is fighting for you he wants to keep you on his side

When I think of being on The wrong side
I will gladly except the fight because I know my God is stronger than the devil

I know my God is stronger than those false gods

I know that my checkered past my,
the abuse as a child,
the bad things that happen in our lives when we were little,
the fact that we will never have a mother,
because she chose the wrong side, not once, not twice,
but 3 times she chose the wrong side

Because the devil is inside

The devil is inside of her,
the devil is inside her house,
the devil lives with her once twice thrice

figure it out and get saved from the wrath of God

I don't know if she can be saved
But I know she has never once asked for forgiveness

Not sure how I would react if she did,
but she has never once asked for forgiveness

She has never once denied her crimes

I don't know What Her future holds,
but I know how my story will end

It ends with me being on God's side, I will fight for Him I will fight with Him

I know the big guy in the sky has my back,
no one is greater than He

The moment I could see clearly

The moment I was awaken

The moment my eyes

Was when Mother told me when we were sitting on the love seat by the bar at your house grandma

She told me she was going to buy your house because they didn't have one for a $120,000

I was so shocked I woke up and slowly began to see what was going on all around me the entire time

She wanted that house for less than half the market value

You may not believe me but soon you will see, Soon everyone will see that I'm not the liar

Soon you will see who the real liar is God knows I'm not the liar I know I'm not the liar I'm not to betrayer of my family

PEACE

Have your nightmare stopped
Do you sit and watch the clock
On the carousel of life
Hate goes round and round
Peace can not be found
Until you release The pain inside you
Peace will not be found
Just because I don't see
Doesn't mean You're not seen
God is all around you
I pray for us all
I pray for my enemies
I pray for my enemies to live happily ever after far away from me
I pray For house with strong walls
A house divided will surely fall
I pray God's protection for us all
I pray for God to touch us all
Before we fall

be the voice that shakes the earth

Dear courts of public opinion,
You must understand we forgave that woman many times in many times she continue with her bad behavior. She has been forgiven but will never forget and we will never put ourselves in that kind of danger again. Even as adults I keep my distance. My heart will not be tender for her, she will be judged when it's her time. I just choose to stay away from her for my sanity. And I am really sure Andrew and Tina feel the same way, Andrew tried to make peace with her, however she decided to choose her men over her kids it's been like that since I can remember since we moved to Florida and now she has to live with her choices in life. You must understand that woman Chose her path and she must live with the consequences. We will not forget and we will not be quiet everyone must know she may not go to jail for what she let happen but in the eyes of the media and public opinion it will hurt her more than anything. I say this to you, because I am glad we voiced our opinion and give each other advice because no one in the state of Florida has stepped up to help us not once, except maybe 2 for sure 1. Now we have to help ourselves, we may be wrong God would judge 4 that. But I do not believe we are wrong, I believe God wants her to choose a side and she's choosing the wrong one. She is choosing the man that hurt us all she wants to protect him, that's her choice we will no longer protect her or him. We have protected her 4 far too long and when I stopped I was freed. Once I stopped lying to myself , Lying to others about her trying to protect her, I was empowered by the truth. I was empowered by the light that came from the truth And I will continue to be strong and be empowered because I believe as do my brother and sister that Justice will be served whether it's now or in the next life. We will not be quiet to make her feel better, we will be louder. As I am loud with my voice for animals helpless people other children I will be even louder with my voice on this topic because how many of us remain silent to protect their feelings Of their abusers and we continued the cycle of violence continued to hurt others got hurt it must be stopped in must and God did not put us here to be abused he did not put us here to be assaulted I believe if these things happen to us it is a purpose for us to be Earth rattling voices and shout out to the world with our voices until the day they are judged.Either by man's court or by God. May God be with you, because I will not. Signed, the victims, the abused, the child, the voiceless, the grown up, the scarred, And now the empowered.t us all she wants to protect him, that's her choice we will no longer protect her or him. We have protected her 4 far too long and when I stopped I was freed.
