Watching Them Play

Watch them play
All day
See them run
Jump
Roll around
Making strange sounds
Smiles that go wider and wider
So wide
Like the Grand Canyon earthly smile
Tongues that hang low
 Like they plan to escape
From the Grand Canyons hold
Making me smile
Mouths open so wide
I see happy hearts
Theirs and mine
We are one of a kind
It never gets old
Watching them play
All day
