Life of a fighter

Scared
I want to cry

Sad
I don’t know why

Angry
Crows fly by

Hungry
Ravens seem idle in the sky

Caged
Eyes close as I begin to cry

Pain
I see vultures on standby

Fight
As the reaper walks by

Tired
I cry

Fight
Angels stop by

Fight
I don’t know why

No Fight
Only white

Thank you for your kind words. When I wrote this, I had just rescues a puppy from a dog fighting ring (FBI & ASPCA sting in Alabama. Some dogs were not as lucky as my boy was, I wrote it from the eyes of the dogs that lost their fight. I still cry when I think of them. Please share and keep spreading the word. I could see how it looks like the view of a fire fighter too. Much LOVE & Respect for them too!
